Digital Dental Design Engineer

Job Description:
Working as part of a team you would be responsible for digitally designing a variety of crown and bridge cases including single crowns, multiple bridge units as well as single and complex implant units. You would also be involved in the design of implant borne restorations and digital diagnostic wax ups from single units to full mouth rebuild.
Candidates do not necessarily need to have digital dental experience, however a willingness to learn and a can do attitude are imperative.

Prosthetics Technician

Job Description:
Working alongside a highly experienced Prosthetics team, you are required to make both standard and premium quality dentures, partial dentures and other prosthetic appliances (special trays, essix retainers, bite appliances etc). You would have the opportunity to work on implant borne removable prosthesis, acrylic wraps, flexi dentures and Solvay and Peek frameworks, so skills in this area are desirable but not essential as these can be taught in house. You will also have the opportunity to learn about digital dentures and digital workflow as the technology and products become available.
This role would suit an ambitious Prosthetics Dental Technician who is looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking laboratory.
Attention to detail is important and you should possess critical thinking skills to allow you to assess various solutions before proceeding with the design and manufacture of each case. You should be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to speak with customers and other team members.

Working within the Finishing department, you would be responsible for accurately interpreting prescriptions so all ceramic restorations meet the design specification prescribed by the dentist and meet the required quality standards of the Company, within the specified time frames
You should be creative with the ability to interpret dentist requirements to create highly aesthetic cases that replicate nature. Attention to detail is a given as is the ability to problem solve. You should enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work off your own initiative. The ability to work under pressure within time constraints is important.

Reporting to the Dental Lab Manager, you will work within all areas of the laboratory to gain skills and experience to become a Dental Technician. You would have the opportunity to work in the Model Room, Prosthetics, Digital Design and Finishing.
You should be self motivated, with an eagerness to develop a career in Dental technology. You should have good hand-eye coordination and be able to pay attention to detail. Problem solving skills are an advantage with the ability to logically work your way through any issue
